What does "due" date and time in the Google Classroom mean?
Do I earn points for team activities when I am absent or not listed as a team member?
No, you don't earn points for it. Members who were present during the activity and actively participated in coming up with the required team output are credited with points for their work and effort.
If a student is absent and/or inactive during the team activity, the student does not earn points for it.
As this is a team activity, there is no equivalent makeup activity for absent members when the team has already accomplished the required team output. Members who were absent are advised to focus on future class standing or team activities to make up for it.

What are the makeup exam requirements?
Makeup Exam Definition
The make-up exam is defined by the university via the Learning Memo 2010-010.
Learning Memo (LM) 2010-010: Makeup-Up Term Examinations
1️⃣ A make-up term examination may be given to a student who was not able to take the term examination during its original date and time.
2️⃣ A make-up term examination may only be given within five (5) days after the original date of the term examination.
3️⃣ The student is charged a fee for each make-up term examination he takes.
4️⃣ A make-up term examination may only be administered if the student can present his examination permit and proof of payment for the said make-up term examination.
5️⃣ If the student has no examination permit because of their inability to pay, he may apply for a student loan.
6️⃣ A student who is still not able to take the make-up term examination will get a failing grade for the corresponding term examination.

How do I know if my permit is already checked?
At the bottom of the permit post, you’ll be able to see a rubric button which you may expand for you to read the feedback for your submission.
A sample of the rubric’s contents is as follows.
Why does my subject teacher check my permit?
Faculty members are directed by the university to check student permits before students take exams. If you have questions regarding this, you may direct your questions to the college dean.
What do I do if I don’t have my permit for the exams?
Here are different scenarios that you would need to consider:
Case 1: You’ve already fully paid but you’re not issued your permit yet.
Solution: Go to the university cashier and claim your permit. You may also contact them online via email to request a digital copy of your permit.
Case 2: I don’t have enough to settle my account for the current period.
Solution: You may apply for a student loan. A link is provided by the CSDL department for each term before the schedule of the exams. Apply early to accomplish the application and acquire a permit for the exams.
Case 3: I have paid using GCASH or alternative payment methods outside the university
Solution: A digital copy of your permit will be issued by the finance department to your university email. Check your email for updates. Allow for 2-3 days for processing. Follow up as needed.
Do I need to present my permit for the exams?
Yes, you need to present your permit before taking the exams.
What is the schedule of periodic exams for 1st sem SY 2022 - 2023?
For UPang Flex Upperclass, the schedule of major exams is as follows:
Why does a message that says “You need permission” appear when I access my quiz via Google form?
When accessing quizzes, or Google Forms, students may be prompted with the following notification.
You may only access Google Forms for quizzes, exams, or similar forms from the class or the university using your UPang email.
Make sure you log out of other accounts before taking the quiz and log in using your university email to access the quiz.
What do I need to prepare for a quiz or exam?
For face-to-face quizzes or exams, you need to prepare pen and paper.
For online quizzes, you will need to prepare for mobile data usage as well as check the stability of the internet connection. You also need to make sure that your device is able to load Google Classroom and Google forms.
Why can’t I edit my submitted output?
To edit a currently submitted output, you will need to unsubmit, make your edits, and resubmit.
Note that the time of submission for your activity will be the latest submission you’ve done. Check post-deadline and rubrics for activity posts.
What are examples of unacceptable excuses?
Schedule your job and personal activities around the exam dates and/or schedule of your enrolled subjects, not vice versa.
As a responsible student who had enrolled in the course for a given schedule, if something is preventing you from studying, then consider taking to the guidance office staff or the college dean for counseling, and/or taking the course later.
Most unacceptable excuses are related to scheduling conflicts or poor planning, such as:
▶ “My boss needed me to come in early (or stay late) at work” - exam dates shown on this syllabus will not change; therefore, inform your boss well in advance that you will need to be on campus during these times
▶ “I have work during the class” - that's a schedule conflict – not an emergency. It is your responsibility to check that your enrolled subjects and work schedule do not conflict in schedules.
▶ “I will be out of town that day” – that’s a schedule conflict – not an emergency
▶ “I have an event to attend” – that’s another schedule conflict – not an emergency
▶ “I wasn’t feeling well” [without a medical certificate or validated letter from a parent/guardian] - we all have days when we aren’t feeling 100%; if you are feeling bad enough, then go to a medical clinic to get an excuse at some point before you return to class next time
▶ “My Grandfather is 95 years old and not doing well” – most 95-year-olds are in frail health: this doesn’t qualify
▶ “The roads were bad, and I couldn’t make it to campus”- I live in the boondocks. So if I can make it to school, you should too (a notable exception exists when the university itself is closed, which is rare)
▶ “There’s traffic” or “My car wouldn’t start” or “My car was in the repair shop” - leave for class early on exam days in case a delay happens; if you cannot drive yourself, take a bus/taxi or ask somebody else for a ride well in advance
▶ “I forgot the exam (or quiz or class) was today” – this lame excuse obviously doesn’t qualify for a makeup exam or quiz or an excuse from the activity.
▶ “I overslept and was not able to attend class and work on the activities” – this is another lame excuse that doesn’t qualify for a makeup exam or quiz or an excuse from the activity.
▶ “I’m doing house chores during class schedule” – everyone does house chores. It’s good that you’re helping out but this does not qualify as it is not an emergency
▶ “I had errands to run.” – This does not count unless the errand is an emergency with supporting documents.
