THINGS TO NOTE
⭐ Shift B's face-to-face schedule is on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Your professor may currently be attending classes onsite and may only be able to attend to your messages during breaks.
⭐ Shift B RC + IL schedule is set on Thursdays and Fridays. Your professor is going through the messages, emails, posts, and activities, and attending to the RC schedule of the classes. You may receive replies and feedback as soon as your professor is able to work through the tasks of the day.
⭐ For messages and emails sent beyond the work hours of the F2F or RC+IL schedule, you may check replies or feedback during your next F2F or RC+IL schedule.
May I send private messages (PMs)?
DOs:
🟢 Send class-related messages directly to the official class GC instead of PMs.🟢 If the message has sensitive information or attachments, send a formal email.
DON'Ts
🔴 No need to duplicate notifications of actions done in other platforms such as:
➡ “I’ve sent an email”
➡ "Nag-email po ako."
🔴 Do not use the GC to send notifications of a PM.
➡ “Mam, may pm po ako.
➡ “Nag-pm ako.”
➡ “I've sent a PM”
➡ “Mam, I’ve sent a private message”
Is it required to join the class GC?
🟢 It is recommended but not required.
🟢 It allows you to receive class announcements and updates directly from the faculty handler.
THINGS TO NOTE if you join the GC
🟢 Be on your best behavior
🟢 Keep things professional
🟢 The faculty handler reserves the right to remove members for inappropriate messages or emojis, disruptive, discriminatory, or disrespectful behavior, or such other instances which may prevent the conducive conduct of the class and proper usage of the online platform.
Do I need to update my FB account profile picture?
This is up to you. The account is yours and as your preferred account, it will be included in the class GC.
It is however the discretion of the faculty handler to exclude your preferred account from being added to the GC should there be a reason, which may include but is not limited to inappropriate, offensive, or discriminatory profile picture or account name, verified troll accounts, and/or similar scenarios.
Why is my preferred FB account not yet added to the official GC?
Verify that the information that you’ve provided in the GC membership form is accurate.
For preferred FB accounts to be added to the GC, you will need to provide a link (not a name) to your account. To check, visit the link: GC Membership Request Form and edit your answer.
Preferred accounts are added to the official GC during RC + IL schedules (Fridays and Saturdays).
If you’ve made the request beyond work hours and/or days outside of the current RC + IL schedule, wait for the next RC + IL schedule.
