WEAR YOUR MASK AT ALL TIMES
- Wear a well-fitted mask
- When visiting other household/s, strolling at the malls, or dropping by grocery stores, markets, or workplaces - chances of getting infected are high. Take all precautions and never let your guard down. We can't easily identify carriers of the virus - even if they are your family members.
MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING
- Don't hesitate to put a distance between yourself and people who don't live in your household.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Remember that some people without symptoms may be able to spread the virus.
AVOID CROWDS AND POORLY VENTILATED SPACES
- Avoid indoor spaces that do not offer fresh air from the outdoors as much as possible.
- Refrain from dining in at your favorite restaurants, going to shared fitness centers, and visiting banks at peak hours. Choose the take-out way, try to be a little creative in creating a DIY fitness space in your home, and learn how to transact online.
WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN
- It is preferred to wash your hands with soap.
- It is especially important to wash:
- Before eating or preparing food
- Before touching your face
- After using the restroom
- After blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing
- After handling your mask
- After caring for someone sick
- After touching animals or pets
COVER COUGHS AND SNEEZES
- If you coughed or sneezed while wearing a mask, put on a new clean mask as soon as possible and wash your hands.
- If you are not wearing a mask (eg at home), cover your mouth with a tissue or the inside of your elbow and wash your hands immediately.
CLEAN & DISINFECT
- Clean high-touch surfaces daily: tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
MONITOR YOUR HEALTH DAILY
- Be alert for symptoms.
- Take your temperature.
- Learn how to properly monitor symptoms, and report health situations to proper authorities through different LGU and workplace guidelines and protocols.
